"I am purchasing KARE bands to show my support to the Hurricane Katrina victims. I want people to ask me what is the band so I can tell them that I support Katrina Relief and ask if they have made their donations to a Katrina Relief organization. Every one needs to make a donation regardless of the size. No one should be sitting back and thinking they don't need to make a donation because others are donating. Every adult and child needs to dig into their accounts and piggy banks or even give up a few meals and donate the money they saved by not eating to a Katrina Relief because so much help is needed. "

"This is a terrible disaster you've all had to endure. We went through 2 of the 4 that hit Florida last summer. I hope the rescue, recovery and rebuilding go smoother than the initial response from the government. We are all here praying, thinking of you all and raising money to send up there. All of you take care."
